WHO WE ARE

ShareVision is one of the top online information management platforms for agencies that advocate for people with developmental disabilities, provide family, youth and children's programs, and deliver services to people in need. We are a tightly knit team who share common values and are driven by a mission to improve quality of life with respect for individual choice and dignity. You can read more about our story and team here: *************

If you have a desire to work for a small but growing SaaS technology company that cares for its employees and strives to improve the quality of life for its clients and the people served by our clients, we are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join the ShareVision team.

OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have 2-years minimum successful experience in sales. Preference given to experience selling to non-profit organisations and software sales, with an understanding of online (SaaS B2B) platforms, services and general management of client needs.

We are looking for a person with a consultative sales mindset who will produce new business by leading discovery calls with empathy, who will understand the clients' challenges and connect them to the right ShareVision package to solve their needs and help them reach their goals. Even though you will collaborate with another team member responsible for cold calls/emails, proven success in prospecting and cold calling is essential in order to continuously improve the outbound strategy, support and coach the outbound team member, help design scripts and assist with responses for the more complex cold leads.

This is a full-time sales position, working from home with no travel (except potentially to trade shows and company meetings, a few times per year). There is great career potential to grow and develop in our company.

Compensation includes salary base plus bonus incentives, a wellness stipend, as well as an excellent benefits package. You also get the perk of working from home!

Important: If you thrive listening to people's stories and find fulfillment connecting them to a good solution to their challenges - and if you want to learn what it's like to work for a growing technology company - we'd love to talk to you even if you aren't sure if you meet some of the requirements listed here! You will get support from an outbound specialist, a world-class CRM and marketing platform (HubSpot) - including an excellent sales and marketing training that comes with the platform - and a kind team that's worked in this field for 20+ years and openly shares knowledge and offers a helping hand.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Accountable for all sales activities from lead generation to close
  • Track all deals and existing customer account details in the HubSpot sales CRM and in our project admin software
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success, product and executive teams to generate revenue, increase market share and reach the company's long-term goals and vision
  • Build a robust pipeline of new opportunities by responding to inbound leads and leading outbound introductory calls
  • Lead discovery calls and use strong buyer-centric listening techniques to understand client's pain points, challenges and goals
  • Close deals by supporting clients on their buying journey, responding to questions and helping them resolve barriers to getting started
  • Manage and forecast monthly and quarterly sales pipelines
  • Meet and strive to exceed performance measurement targets
  • Learn the way the ShareVision platform works and how it helps organizations track client, program and service data more efficiently. You can view a tour of the platform here: *************
  • Coordinate, participate in and conclude all sales demos led by ShareVision Product Experts you would match to each opportunity
  • Build long-standing relationships with prospects that provide lasting value and promote customer success with the platform. Educate prospects on what makes a successful ShareVision customer
  • Generation and management of quotes and purchase proposals
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Training teams to lead welcome meetings for new customers and ensure a smooth transition

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years of related sales experience, preferably in a software environment
  • Strong phone, email, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially listening
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: unafraid to test new concepts and ideas quickly, fail and iterate
  • Proficient computer skills including working with Microsoft Office, Google Apps, customer relationship management and online meeting software
  • Innovative and able to think on your feet. A self-starter
  • Goal-focused and disciplined

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with web-based (SaaS) software
  • Experience with the HubSpot sales and marketing platform
  • Client management experience helping people understand how projects, business processes and software product roll-out works
  • Experience in a social services environment such as community living, child and youth care, employment services or other community service providers

We thank all applicants in advance. Only those chosen for further consideration will be contacted. All other applications will be kept on file for future opportunities.

Please send your resume and cover letter and state the job title.
