We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Team Leader to work in its Global Headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada

Job/Position Summary:

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Team Leader – Business Development Representative is responsible for maintaining individual KPIs as well as supporting a team of individuals to achieve theirs. This individual is highly organized, agile, and detail oriented.

You will be in the business of People. The core of this role is designed to motivate, problem solve, and teach a team of individuals to finesse their sales skills, call navigation & overall work efficiencies. Along with maintaining a positive & empowering work environment, you will also have KPIs that will showcase your success as a functional Team Leader. With strong support from your Leader, you will be guided in learning core foundations on what it takes to be in leadership and lead a strong team.

Responsibilities:

  • The team leader works alongside their group and engage to help accomplish the team's goals and well as provide instructions, providing direction, and guiding the team to meet the set targets. 
  • Feedback from 1-1s, overall motivation level of team, celebrate successes, review monthly objective status, progress reports on projects, etc.
  • Conduct weekly stand-ups and arrange team training, as necessary.
  • Monitor team member calls and provide coaching feedback on calls, feedback on quality, and review sample requests prior to approval.
  • Monitor team and individuals’ weekly performance and makes adjustments and suggestions as necessary.  
  • Monitoring leads in cadence, converting opportunity compliance, teams self-generated activities.
  • Update Sales Force Agents and leads limit to adapt to number of individuals working
  • Work with manager and team to adjust and improve internal scripts as necessary
  • Update team on marketing activities (e-blast schedule), verify stock on proposed product sends, lead discussion in new glove releases.
  • Participate in interview process and assist with day-to-day onboarding of new employees including job shadowing.
  • Organize and work with Sales Training Specialist to arrange Product knowledge & software training, navigating call best practices for new hires.
  • Provide progress reports to Manager on new hire activities
  • Collaborate with manager on team contest ideas and motivating activities and execute activities

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Business Development job experience
  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary diploma in Business preferred
  • Previous experience in leading teams is preferred
  • Computer literacy must be at an intermediate level or higher (MS Office suite, MS Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and related sales activities.
  • Working knowledge of sales enablement tools (dialer/cadence program) is considered an asset
  • Sales experience in full sales cycle; understanding of the sales pipeline and a customer journey.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated individual who has a positive and proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and great customer service.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Follow and adhere to company’s policies and procedures
