COMPANY DESCRIPTION

OPTIK K&R Inc . is a privately held, Canadian corporation that manufactures, imports and distributes eye care products. All product sales are made directly to industry professionals across Canada such as opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists and M.D.’s.

Some of the products provided by Optik K&R are: contact lenses, eyeglass (ophthalmic) lenses, frames and accessories. Both stock and custom lenses are available through Optik K&R. Custom contact lenses (both rigid and soft) are manufactured on site. In addition, eyeglass lenses are manufactured on a made-to-order basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

AFTERNOON SHIFT: 10:30 am to 7:00 pm

You will be indirect contact with eye-care professionals like opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists. Primarily you will be required to:

• Utilize Eyeglass Lens, Contact Lens (soft, hard, and custom) and Frame Product Knowledge
• Utilize Lens Coating Product Knowledge
• Solving customer problems - including product consultation regarding lens selection and fitting.
• Addressing requests for Pricing, Catalogs, & Marketing Materials.
• Advising of Promotions
• Answering question regarding Policies
• Work with Sales Reps to satisfy customer’s needs
• Setup New Clients
• Provide Billing, and Accounts Receivable information including payment methods and programs
• Web Login/Password & Navigation assistance
• Order taking
• Returns (RMA) processing
• Effectively addressing customer complaints
• Other administrative duties.
• Stock keeping and light warehouse duties may be required.

This opportunity can lead to lens consultation specialist position, marketing & web site maintenance, inside sales or outside sales.

EDUCATION

High School - Required

Post-Secondary - Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
