Full Job Description

This position is located at DenMat's headquarters in Lompoc, CA. It will start as a temp-to-hire at $16.50 per hour. Dependent on performance, an individual could be converted to a regular employee after approximately four months to a rate of $17.00 per hour plus bonus eligibility and full DenMat benefits package.

Objective

Under direct supervision assists in producing and processing sales orders of products to large customers including group practices, dental distributors, and schools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Accurately enter customer orders by verifying item numbers, quantities and descriptions, including delivery date and credit information; dependent on customer requirements.
  • Communicate with customers as needed via telephone, email, and fax regarding order status; coordinate order payment as necessary depending on type of customer. Ensure order releases as required.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable on credit holds, and payments through wire transfer or credit card.
  • Notify customers of shipping issues, tracking numbers, back order products, and work orders not completed. Resolve issues within limits of authority or elevate to supervisor for resolution.
  • Request credits and re-bills from accounting as applicable. Perform account collections tasks, such as for past due invoices or over credit limit, as necessary.
  • Submit incidents in Salesforce for all repairs, returns, credits and complaints. Notify customer of light evaluation findings; determine if repair is authorized.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year related office experience and/or training.
