Job Description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing a high level of reception support while ensuring quality service and integrity at every customer interaction. If this sounds like you, then apply for the position of Receptionist. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for all telephone and face-to-face enquiries for visiting internal and external clients. Furthermore, in this role, you will get to:

  • Handle basic customer inquiries
  • Answer general questions regarding bank locations, hours, products and services from customers and other Bank personnel, or refer them to the appropriate department where they will obtain a timely and accurate answer
  • Screen calls not immediately identifiable by questioning callers regarding the service, department, or individual involved
  • Prioritize own workload to meet service level agreement requirements for service and productivity
  • Understand and apply operating policies and procedures
  • Support the accurate completion of business processes and procedures
  • Work within established guidelines, accountable for completing routine transactions or low- moderate risk, repetitive processes within a standardized framework
  • Complete transactions using a limited number of systems and applications
  • Handle own workload while coordinating tasks and services with others
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, improve team effectiveness and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Support the team by continuously developing knowledge in own area
  • Par take in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma with over 1 year of related work experience
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
  • Ability to develop knowledge of the business unit and operational functions
  • Experienced to multi task with minimal supervision while working in a group or independently
  • A dedicated and dynamic individual with positive personality and willingness to accept challenges
