Job Duties
1. Responds to information requests in a professional and service oriented manner and provides appropriate referrals.
2. Provides a variety of clerical support functions which may include, but is not limited to, mail delivery, opening mail, preparing mail outs, and filing, scanning, photocopying, and stocking office supplies.
3. Enters and verifies data in the student information system. A high degree of accuracy is critical to maintain accurate student records.
4. Assesses and processes tuition and fees according to policy and procedures
5. Receives payments from customers for a variety of services and updates information on the student information system.
6. Generates photo identification.
7. Registers students through multiple mediums.
8. Checks registered student accounts for accurate fee assessments. A high degree of accuracy is critical with tuition, fee assessments and refunds.
9. Generates registration confirmations.
10. Works closely with other departments to ensure seamless student service.
11. Uses reports and other technical tools to communicate and make decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data.
12. Applies and explains policies and procedures.
13. Possesses fundamental problem-solving skills including the ability to do basic mathematical calculations.
14. Provides excellent customer service.
15. A criminal record check is required.
16. Occasional travel is required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1. Grade 12 with a recognized office education certificate or business certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2. One year recent, relevant experience in administrative work.
3. Demonstrated ability in data input, including ability to update, retrieve, maintain, format and transmit information using database software, while maintaining speed and accuracy.
4. Intermediate computer skills and experience with software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and Internet browsers.
5. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including both oral and written.
6. Effective problem-solving skills.
7. Effective organizational skills.
8. Ability to function as a team member in an ever changing environment.
9. Demonstrates valuing diversity
